Open the document as a Word document in WordPad:
1) Click 'Start' button to display the Windows 'Start' menu.

2) Select the 'Programs' menu and select 'Accessories'.
3) Select 'WordPad'.
4) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Open...'.
5) Select 'Word for Windows 6.0 (*.doc)' from the 'Files of type' drop-down list box.
NOTE: Word 6.0 and 7.0 have the same file format.
